On 14th October 2011, we visited the Sarola Unit of Alfalaval India Ltd. The visit gave our students an exposure to manufacturing process of different dairy equipments. The plant has rigorously implemented 5Ss and conforms to world class quality management. The staff of the company gave their valuable time explaining us about processes and practices of the company with great enthusiasm. 

We later in the afternoon visited Paranjape Autocast (P) Ltd, one of the oldest foundries located in the region. This unit caters to the Automobile Industry. Though, the unit is family managed, they are trying to bring professionalism in terms of technology and man management.
